Gateshead Flower Delivery
Our Low Fell Flower shop is situated on Durham Road
(A167) to the South of the Gateshead Highway.
We're situated at the crossroads with Belle Vue Bank and Kells Lane. This
gives us a direct route into the heart of Gateshead or we can just as
easily pop down the bank onto Saltwell road and get to you from the West
via Whitehall or Bensham Road. We can head East up onto Old Durham Road.
Rest assured that we know the area very well so whatever the traffic we
will get to you promptly and efficiently. It's easy to order flowers in
advance so we can deliver where and when you want.
The Area is steeped in history with many famous people hidden in the
road names, for example, Bewick road named after Thomas Bewick (1753 to
1828) the famous engraver.
Windsor, Albert, Consort and Alexandra named after the Royal family.
Windsor - The royal house of Windsor
Albert and Consort - Queen Victoria's husband - Albert, Prince Consort
Alexandra - Queen Alexandra - Consort of Edward VII
Do you know the history behind your street name? Drop us a line and we
might just put up a special page for the most interesting stories. mystreethistory

P.S. What about Belle Vue Bank - well, our guess is that it's probably
named after the fantastic view of the Team
Valley from the top of the hill.
